Close-ups tell you who is talking, but a Master Shot tells you how the room is responding. Without a constant, overarching visual context, remote viewers miss the nods, shared glances, and environmental cues that define real collaboration. A close-up without a Master Shot is just a talking head in a vacuum.

It comes down to two critical factors - facial pixel density and spatial perspective.
People Image Clarity: Using any camera, capturing an entire room with a single wide-angle lens (typically 90° field of view) leaves far people blurry and indistinct when they speak and the camera zooms in. Equal-i splits the room into narrow high-density segments of only 30° field of view. For example: an executive seated at the far head of a table receives up to 10x more pixel density on their face compared to standard wide angle capture.
